The construction works of the project funded by the Azerbaijani government and South Korean Export-Import Bank were commenced in 2016 and successfully finished in 2020. The plant prevents the direct discharge of wastewater generated in the vast territory in the northeast of the Absheron Peninsula into the Caspian Sea by treating the wastewater generated by settlements in Kurdakhani, Pirshagi, Mashtagha, Bilgah, Nardaran, Mahammadi, Digah, Mehtiabad, Goradil, Fatmai and Novkhani in three stages. The installation of a steel drainpipe with a diameter of 1,600 millimeters and a total length of 1,700 meters, where more than two-thirds of it were laid in the sea, draining purified water into the deep sea-water levels was among the works completed for this project.

The services provided were project management in full scope, including contract and cost management, construction supervision, building permit and authorities liaison, as well as the full period of Client representation.
